11 दिसम्बर - अंतरराष्ट्रीय पर्वत दिवस

On International mountain day , let us give a small attention towards mountains of the world .
Mountains are a precious gift of nature which we get from it.
It is the home of many living being creatures. We see the ecological balance in mountain's valleys. Let think if mountains are not  present on earth , what kind of life on earth is.
Is the life possible without mountains on earth? In mostly cases the answer is No?
We can't imagine life on earth without mountains.
Mountains are the home of rivers. Rivers those are the lifeline of any country for human beings. Mountains are important not for the people who live in valleys but it plays an equal part or more than equal part in the life of human beings who live in plains.
We all are very blissful that we are the people of the great country INDIA ,that comprises whole world in it.
For us mountains are heritage that we got from nature in free .
INDIA is the country that has the oldest (Aravali) and youngest (Himalayas) mountain ranges in world.
Others mountain ranges Vindhyachal, Nilagiri , Satpuras etc.are also consist its own heritage. Mountains are providing shelter for  many endangered species.
Himalayas in North plays an important role in our country ,it is the great soldier of INDIA.
But what we do for Mountains , Are we returning something to nature ? Are we returning something to mountains ?
It's answer is - YES
Yes, we are returning to nature  Pollution, Deforestation.
It is matter of concern not only for human beings but for every species that exist on earth.
People who are in the valleys is affected badly by this work of ours. About 10 - 15 % of world population live in valleys .
Due to climate change , people who have shelter in moutains face different danger like landsliding, earthquake, cloud bursting etc every day. So valleys people also escape their home & turning to metropolitan cities. Metropolitan cities also face different danger due to immigration of people.
In last few years Weather clock is also changed due to climate change.

On this day , let us take a pledge  and work for nature. Afforestation is the perfect option through which we can survive nature.

JAPAN celebrates mountain day on 11 August.
I hope India also mark a day in year as Mountain day.

It's my own personal thought,  I welcome your opinion on article ,Excuse me for any mistake.
